Adopt AI with confidence, and with evidence that it is secure.
Portfolio Highlight
AI creates value and new exposure in the same movement. The model that speeds up transaction monitoring is also a new attack surface, a new source of regulatory obligation and, when in the wrong hands, a new instrument of fraud. Most organisations are adopting AI, and there are business and regulatory requirements to prove it is safe.
Our AI Advisory practice builds the literacy your leadership needs to make the adoption decision, tests your models and AI-enabled applications against the techniques adversaries actually use, and establishes the governance framework that regulators and stakeholders now expect. We also address the other side of the coin: the AI-enabled fraud, deepfake and synthetic-identity attacks already reaching organisations across different markets, including voice-cloned authorisation fraud and forged documents in remote onboarding.
The AI regulatory picture has become more precise now, particularly in the EU with the EU AI Act. National AI strategies and legislations across the Middle East and Africa are converging on the same themes of transparency, accountability and security controls as the EU AI Act. These national strategies and legislation, together with standards such as ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, guide our advisory practice for our clients.
Boards and executives who must approve AI investment and remain accountable for it. Technology and data leaders deploying models into production environments. Risk, compliance and privacy teams translating the EU AI Act and emerging regional and national requirements into operating controls. Product organisations embedding AI into customer-facing services, where a model failure becomes a customer and regulatory event. Financial institutions, insurers and telecommunications operators facing AI-enabled fraud. Organisations seeking to adopt specific AI solutions to address current business needs. Governments seeking to develop and implement AI strategies.
We begin with an inventory, because almost every organisation has more AI in use than its register shows. From that inventory we classify systems by risk and regulatory exposure, which determines the depth of everything that follows.
On deployment of AI solution, we conduct AI needs and readiness assessment first. Our security assessment of AI models covers the whole system, not the model alone: training and retrieval data, access controls, prompt and output handling, third-party dependencies, and the human oversight actually in place to manage systemic risks. On governance, we assist in implementing the controls that carry both regulatory weight and core business needs. Training is role-specific, using your own use cases rather than generic examples.
